Rainbow in the Mist…this is the title of the book for which I was assigned to redesign a dust jacket. It proved quite a challenge, for it oozed every bit of cheesiness a book could possibly ooze: rainbows, romance, mystery, clairvoyance, you name it. However, it interestingly took place in the Blue Ridge Mountains, so I designed the book cover based on the cool, misty, flow of the setting using cool colors, an airy, flowing layout and an ultra light sans serif typeface. This is the full spread of the book cover, so try to imagine it wrapped around a book. Picture soon to come.

A Visual Compendium Exploring the Word “Head”
Here beith my spreads for my latest project. I designed a book that revolves around one word (“Head”) and I chose the copy/text I wanted to include. The right half of this spread is the front cover, and the left half is the back cover. Do peruse my blog to continue the viewing experience. Enjoy, friends!

So my much younger cousin likes to collect rocks. My beau came up with the ingenious…or should I say igneous…idea to pretend to be an Indiana Jones-like rock explorer. He shall be known as Dr. Frederick Quartz Obsidian (Dr. Q for short), and send my darling cousin unique rock samples from all around the world! His story begins on this personalized stationery.
